How does the Net Zero Standard road test for companies intersects with the SBTi-FI work? Is it useful for the FI to participate in the road-test and will the net-zero for financial institutions be addressed?

The NZ road test for corporate will be relevant for an FI’s scope 1 and 2 emissions, but not for its portfolio activities. We are developing a foundations paper for FI’s net-zero targets and a draft is set to be released by the end of this year. Following the foundations’ paper, we will develop separate criteria for FIs’ NZ portfolio targets.
