What to do when we want to strengthen our commitment?

Dear Community,

As an FI, we have already completed our commitment application last year, but now we want to add a net zero commitment to strengthen our ambition. Should we re-submit our commitment letter by going through the same process, or can we notify someone of our decision, and they could perhaps help us tick the Net Zero Target box?

Please note that all companies and FIs have 24 months to submit targets for validation from the original commitment date, per the SBTi Commitment Compliance Policy. Signing a new commitment letter (e.g., to add a net-zero commitment) does not change the deadline of the original commitment.
