SBTi- Finance Tool: The definition of timeframe

Hi,

According to financial institutions tool from SBT, the method of Temperature Scoring is based on the temperature scoring method developed by CDP and WWF. The definition of time frame from this method is “target years minus reporting year” (Report p.19), but the time frame from SBT financial institutions tool is “target years minus current year”. This definition doesn’t match, which will cause the difference of result. How should we identify it?

Thanks for your help!

Best regards,
Iwen Liu

Hi @IW_LIU,
We are aware of the issue and the code will be updated accordingly in a future update, to make sure 2022 targets are still valid until the end of the year, in the tool. I don’t have an exact EAT for the update, unfortunately, but it will be announced in the “Updates” category.
