I’ve spent 15 years my career in asset management, in London, UK, managing portfolios and analysing equities and financial markets. Subsequently, I worked a number of years at Bloomberg, as an equity market specialist, helping to develop asset management solutions, including numerous ESG solutions. In 2019 I joined WWF in Stockholm, Sweden, and its Sustainable Finance practice to develop climate solutions for financial institutions.
For the SBTi, I led the development of the SBTi Finance Tool for setting emission reduction targets for bond and equity portfolios, using the CDP-WWF Temperature Rating and the SBTi Portfolio Coverage methods, released 2020, and led the maintenance and further development of the tool. I have also been involved in developing the first framework for financial institutions, released in 2020, the updated to version 2, released as a pilot 2023 and the consultation paper for FINZ, the net-zero framework for financial institutions, released in 2023.
From 2024 onwards I work solely within WWF (no longer part of the SBTi team) on further developments of the temperature rating method and making sure the tool complies with the method.
