Hi,
could you please specify whether point C11 of the SBTi Criteria and Recommendations “Targets that combine scopes (e.g. 1+2 or 1+2+3) are permitted.” is also valid for SMEs?

Hi Eva - thank you for your question.

This forum is currently only oriented towards Financial Institutions which have a different set of criteria and recommendations then corporations, so clarification on point C11 would best be directed toward the corporate team.

That being said, I recommend you check out the FAQs for SMEs document available. In particular question 2 of the FAQ may clarify things for you: "Unlike larger companies, the near-term option does not require SMEs to set targets for their scope 3 emissions; however, SMEs must commit to measure and reduce their scope 3 emissions. "
