Hello there, we are a Fintech start-up who has developed a carbon accounting tool and we wish to have our methodology either validated, certified, and or accredited against a recognised standard such as ISO14064-3. Does SBTi provide this kind of service? Having our tool and it’s GHG accounting methodology verified by a respected organisation would ensure we give a level of assurance with the tool we have developed. While we do appreciate the wish to harmonize tools and methodology with those from SBTi, for the time being, there is no accreditation offered from SBTi for tools or external methodologies.
