Corporate lending: SME loans is classed as optional under Required Minimum Coverage - does that mean we can cover an optional percentage of those products - and is this scenario likely to change going forward?

Hi Elaine.Miller,

That is correct, loans to SMEs (with <500 employees) are currently an optional asset class, which means you can cover as much of them as you wish.

Generally, if any major changes are proposed, they would be shared for a period of time before they are made effective.
