Any updates on in how far FIs can use the CRREM tool for target setting?
The CRREM tool is very valuable to us as it is the foundation for non-SBTi targets we have set, and we would greatly appreciate if CRREM could be leveraged for the SBTi target setting.

Please see the SBTi Buildings Sector webpage for updates, including the collaboration with CRREM to provide a set of 1.5°C aligned in-use operational emissions pathways for the building sector. The draft Buildings Sector SBT Setting Guidance has a section for financial institutions that is expected to apply under the SBTi FI Net-Zero Standard that is currently under development.
