Target Setting and Base year

Hello,

Could you please confirm if it would be acceptable to set the target year as 2030 if we want to put the base year as 2019 because it represents our company’s most recent and typical profile? This is in the context of submitting the targets for official validation by 2024.

We understand that our ambition will be further assessed based on the most recent inventory against the target year, which will be our 2023 data.

Hi, could you please provide more details? Is this for a corporate or FI? Is the target covering scope 1+2, scope 3 categories 1-14, or scope 3 category 15? What kind of target is it (e.g., absolute emissions reduction, supplier engagement, SDA, Portfolio Coverage, Temperature Rating)?
