Investments in new motorways

Hi,
I would like to know if you impose some restrictions for investments in new motorways.
Putting money in new motorways permits to develop use of cars and transportation of goods with trucks, by providing new facilities.
However, to reduce the environmental impact of transport, it is not possible to replace present vehicles by electric, electro-hydrogen or biogas vehicles. There is a need to reduce their uses and develop existing means such as railways which emit less carbon per transported ton.
Thank you for your reply.

Best regards,
Patrice

Hi Patrice, I’m not aware of any specific criteria around this but since FIs need to set targets, it should follow that they should indeed finance solutions like the ones you mention to reduce emissions.
