With regard to project finance or loans provided to customers in the FLAG sector:

  1. Can you confirm that financial institutions that fund agriculture or forestry companies/projects trigger FLAG?

  2. If yes, Can you confirm whether these FIs have to make a zero deforestation commitment that covers all of their financed emissions associated with “deforestation-linked commodities”

  3. How do land clearing emissions (min 20 years) correlate to the years that the project/company has been financed? If a farm has been operating for 20 years, but financed by a bank for 1 year, are the 20 years of land clearing emissions included in the banks financed emissions?

  4. (this is more a FLAG question) Is vegetation management on existing farmland considered land clearing, land management, deforestation, or none of these
